Founded in 1972, General Engineering Works (GEW) has established a legacy of excellence in electrical engineering. Over five decades, we have evolved into a market leader specializing in transformer manufacturing, repair, redesigning, and site services.
Manufacturing of Oil Filled Transformers up to 25 MVA & 132 kV Class and Dry Type Cast Resin Transformers up to 2.5 MVA 33 kV Class.
Repair, refurbishment, redesigning, and overhauling services up to 25 MVA / 132 kV with complete winding support up to 40 MVA.
Specialized mobile technical teams for oil filtration, leakage rectification, gasket replacement, Tan Delta testing, DGA testing, and Residual Life Assessment.
State-of-the-art manufacturing facility spread across 1,00,000 sq. ft. with 30 MT handling capacity, vacuum thermo pack systems, and modern testing infrastructure.
Approved by BIS, RDSO, Coal India Ltd, PUVVNL, MVVNL, and RVNL for manufacturing and service operations.
Complete in-house designing, manufacturing, testing, and heat run facilities using reputed global raw materials sourced from approved vendors.
